The Generalyst Manifesto for Startups [#88]
You can't expect non-linear results from linear people.

Hey Reader,
In November 2024, I founded my latest company, Generalyst. Since then, I've learned a lot about my business, my beliefs, and what I believe makes a great candidate.
I spent the past four weeks writing all of these thoughts down in a manifesto.
This manifesto outlines how I believe startups should think about talent. (And how I think about it.)
It's a bit long to share in an email, so you're gonna have to click this button:
If you know anyone who's hiring right now, please share this Manifesto with them. Would mean a lot to me.
Question for you:
- How do you feel about this Manifesto?
- Is there anything that's missing / elaborated too much?
Like anything in a startup, it remains a work in progress. Would love to hear your thoughts.
PS: NFL Season starts this week. Make sure to give your loved ones proper notice.

That’s it. Thanks for reading. If you liked this, please share it with one friend. If you didn’t, please let me know so I can improve this newsletter.
With ❤️ from Dominik.

Whenever you're ready, there are a few ways we can work together:
- Know someone that'd benefit from also enrolling in Personal Productivity OS? Become an affiliate, get your friend(s) a discount and make money in the process.
- Who's the best commercial generalyst you know (besides yourself, duh)? Send them this link – would love to have them on my next cohort.
- And if you know of a startup that's hiring for generalist positions in mainland Europe, drop me a hint :)
